Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan
Elmar Mammadyarov will hold a meeting with his Georgian and Turkish
counterparts, Mikheil Janelidze and Mevlut Cavusoglu, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
"The meeting is due to take place in Baku in early September. This is another meeting where the foreign ministers will discuss current matters of the regional agenda and trilateral cooperation," spokesman for the Georgian Embassy told the news agency on Monday.
The parties are to discuss the implementation of big regional projects on their territories, he said.
The first trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey was held on June 8 2012, when the Trabzon declaration was signed. The declaration foresees cooperation in politics, economics, energy, transport, and environment protection. Since then, the meetings have been taking place twice a year.
