Τεράστια εγκατάσταση η οποία προς το παρόν φιλοξενεί 300 περίπου άτομα!

"Dragon Oil" and "ENOC" have put on hold deliveries of Turkmen crude oil to Iran. Earlier this month Russian-flag vessels VF Tanker-20 and VF Tanker-13 delivered to Iranian port Neka three cargoes of Cheleken crude oil (around 6000 MT each). As it turned out, these liftings were arranged without official authorisation from Turkmenistan authorities, and shipping documents were issued for transit of this cargo to Europe through port Baku. Since 11th of August both vessels are staying on port Aladja roads, waiting for further instructions. Most likely, this delay is caused by an attempt of «Dragon Oil» to receive official authorization from Turkmenistan authorities to deliver cargoes to southern destination. However, this attempt may take too much time or even completely fail. Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov will hold a meeting with his Georgian and Turkish counterparts, Mikheil Janelidze and Mevlut Cavusoglu, according to Interfax-Ukraine . "The meeting is due to take place in Baku in early September. This is another meeting where the foreign ministers will discuss current matters of the regional agenda and trilateral cooperation," spokesman for the Georgian Embassy told the news agency on Monday. The parties are to discuss the implementation of big regional projects on their territories, he said. The first trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey was held on June 8 2012, when the Trabzon declaration was signed. The declaration foresees cooperation in politics, economics, energy, transport, and environment protection. Since then, the meetings have been taking place twice a year.

Σ.Σ Στο σημείο αυτό να σημειώσουμε ότι σε σεμινάριο που έγινε το 2014 στην περιοχή Θεσ/νικής οι ασκούμενοι αντιμετώπισαν το σενάριο της  παγιδευμένης γεμιστήρας και ενημερώθηκαν για τον τρόπο διαχείρισης παρατημένου οπλισμού !

Σε 500.000 περίπου υπολογίζονται, μετριοπαθής εκτίμηση, τα κρούσματα χολέρας στην Υεμένη ενώ ο ΟΗΕ ανακοίνωσε απο τον Ιούλιο  ότι ανακαλεί το πρόγραμμα εμβολιασμού! Η κατάσταση στην Υεμένη πλέον είναι ανεξέλεγκτη με την διεθνή κοινότητα να παρακολουθεί τα γεγονότα αφού στηρίζεται στην καλή διάθεση της Υεμένης και τις δηλώσεις των Ιρανών, ότι θα διαφυλάξουν την  ναυσιπλοία  στα στενά!! Πλοιάριο της Ακτοφυλακής, Υεμένης, διενεργεί έλεγχο σε πλοιάριο έτοιμο να ανοιχθεί στην Ερυθρά.

Τhe navy on Wednesday announced plans to secure a greater role in providing anti-piracy security cover for international merchant shipping.  New navy commander Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah said Sri Lanka as a conflict-free nation in South Asia was well placed to protect international shipping between the pirate-infested Gulf of Aden to Straits of Malacca. He said they were seeking to increase commercial operations providing armed on-board protection to commercial vessels vulnerable to hijackings, especially by Somali pirates. "We are friends with everyone and we have no enemies," Sinniah told reporters in Colombo a day after assuming office. "We are well placed to provide security services to merchant vessels." The cholera outbreak in Yemen is overwhelmingly affecting rebel-controlled areas due to Saudi-led airstrikes and blockades, according to a letter by researchers from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), published in The Lancet Global Health . Their new analysis finds that eight out of ten of Yemen’s cholera deaths occur in rebel-controlled areas. Cholera is a bacterial infection that is spread by water that contains contaminated faeces. It can be easily prevented where people have access to clean water and sanitation, and it can be easily treated with antibiotics and oral rehydration therapy. The researchers combined WHO’s latest cholera data with data that mapped areas of government and rebel control, and found that the cholera outbreak disproportionately affects areas controlled by Houthi rebels. They found that 77.7 per cent of cholera cases (339,061 of 436,625) and 80.7 per cent of deaths from cholera (1,545 of 1,915) occurred in Houthi-controlled go

    Ενα παράδοξο φαινόμενο είναι σε πλήρη εξέλιξη στην Ερυθρά και τον κόλπο του Άντεν με πρωταγωνιστές τους πληθυσμούς της Αιθιοπίας, Σομαλίας και Ερυθραίας. Κάτοικοι αυτών των χωρών καταβάλλουν απο 80-250 δολάρια για να μεταφερθούν στην σπαρασσόμενη απο τον εμφύλιο Υεμένη χωρίς να το γνωρίζουν ή ακόμα χειρότερα αρνούνται να το πιστέψουν, με σκοπό να μετακινηθούν στα πλουσιότερα Εμιράτα της αραβικής χερσονήσου! Οι δουλέμποροι μόλις πλησιάζουν τις ακτές της Υεμένης, τους πετούν στην θάλασσα με αποτέλεσμα πολλοί απ αυτούς να πνίγονται! Σε τελευταίο περιστατικό το οποίο μετέδωσε το ΑP,   αναφέρει ότι απο τους 180 που ρίχθηκαν στην θάλασσα, βρέθηκαν 5 νεκροί και αγνοούνται 50! Τα περιστατικά αυτά ειδικά για πλοιάρια που μετακινούνται στο κόλπο του Άντεν αποτελούν διευρυμένης ειδικής μορφής απειλή για τα εμπορικά πλοία, λόγω και του ανθρωπιστικού χαρακτήρα που περικλείει η παράμετρος ναυαγός! We would like to bring to your attention the recent developments at Saudi Arabia with regards to Ballast Water Management. There was a meeting conducted by authorities with reference to BWM Convention that will enter   into force on 8 September 2017.   Saudi Aramco has charted out an plan to enforce on ships calling Saudi Arabian ports to comply with the regulation. Ras Tanura & Juaymah Ports shall be a part of the pilot run and Saudi Aramco has given 2 months’ notice to this effect. With effect from 1 st of May 2017, all ships that call Ras Tanura and Juaymah Terminals will be required to have the ballast water sampling done by an approved inspection agency as per Article 9 of the convention. The tests would have to be arranged by the Vessel Owners or Operators at their own cost. Master will have to declare the BW test status as per the attached Saudi Aramco data form provided. The prelim test report will need to be attached with this declaration.

                          Singapore, 21 st August, 2017 Stealth Maritime Corporation can confirm that its managed tanker vessel the ALNIC MC (IMO: 9396725 Liberian Flag) was involved in a collision with the US Navy vessel USS JOHN S MCCAIN off the coast of Singapore                       at 05:20 Singapore Time on 21 st August, 2017. As a result of the collision ALNIC MC sustained a gash to the starboard side of the bow above the waterline, there were no injuries to crew and no reported pollution of the Singapore Strait. The vessel is now safely anchored off Singapore for assessment. The ALNIC MC had been transiting from Mai Liao in Taiwan to Singapore with a partial load of 12,000MT of fuel oil at the time of the incident. Οι αναφορές του για την αμυντική θωράκιση της νήσου και τις επιπτώσεις απο την μη υλοποίηση τους ήταν ανατριχιαστικά ακριβείς! Πώς να μην ήταν εξάλλου! Ιερολοχίτης μπαρουτοκαπνισμένος, και χωρίς σωληνοειδή όραση που κυριαρχεί πλέον σε στρατιωτικά και πολιτικά επιτελεία.
